of birthdays and such..

3rd time and never lucky....

well, don't get the wrong idea with my title.. what i really mean is that it's my third time to Sabah already, and yet i haven't gotten a chance to visit Manukan island yet!!!

1st time - it was for a mission trip but our host arranged for a day to chill so we were all packed with finger foods to just lepak at the beach and only found out that we couldnt go when we reached the Sutera Harbour pier. apparently it rained cats and dogs the night before and the island is in a wreck!

2nd time - after climbing mount KK, no one had the energy for whatsoever activities after that.

this time - went there for work and decided not to stay back during the weekends.. :(

we stayed in tanjung aru..


i was dreading to come for this work event cos it was really a distraction from what i've planned out for the week. so i went there with the mindset that i was not gonna jalan jalan around, was just gonna stay in my hotel room, be anti social and do work.


but who could've resisted this??? ahhhhh..


well though i didn't get to do much, like sitting by the deck chairs listening to my fav music with the cool breeze sweeping my hair, i walked around abit armed with my camera.

i injured my hand during this trip! :( (must drama a bit lar..ahhaha)


this is what i felt most of the time. torn between work and leisure. whether to stay in the room or just go out n chill (since im already there rite? hahah) .. its apparent what i chose in the end so i suffered after that.


all in all, it was a good trip and i did enjoy myself :D
