this was taken as we're walking into Angkor Thom, which was the last and most enduring capital of the Khmer empire. it was established late twelfth century and covers an area of 9 km² which includes Bayon as its state temple. most of these monuments are surrounded by a moat which if my memory served me right, a symbol of their beliefs then.

just because...

i know my birthday is long over and only now i am putting this up. one of the reasons for this long delay is well..i'm shy..hahah :P...and also to save you from bulu roma raising posts lar. i really do try k. *wink*

but there are just some days where i just feel like irritating, and today is one of them! lol. thank god this doesnt happen ever so often! hehe..

well on my birthday, i was on leave. ( who'd want to work on a Monday especially when its your birthday? ) the whole day was planned and i had every bit of fun! the excitement started building up when i was chucked back home for a couple of hours to myself in the evening so that he can prepare.

i was then whisked to my surprise home cooked dinner, decorated with lovely candles and rose petals.. ( this is where u go "Awwwwww" ). as you can see i'm trying to fuse this with lame stuffs just so to decrease the level of ...erm...er..geli-ness ( is there a better word for this? ). i really do hope it's working though. :P

now, with a guy who can cook and make you yummy desserts, its never a wonder why my waistline is ever expanding. -.- its just not fair that his seems to be decreasing! urgh.

at the end of it all, saying that i was mere happy doesn't do justice to what i was feeling! :D
