ZORBIEEE!!!

this was one of the stations and i was totally dreading it. hav never been a fan of thrill rides or things that goes upside down. ( i remember there was once when i was younger, my cousins & i went over to subang parade where they had some fun fair thingy. i went on this ride, looks like a ball, which goes round and round. i guess my cousins were havin fun but it was sooooo bad for me, and i guess i screamed alot that they stopped the ride midway for me to get down. :S )

i had no choice but to go for it here. so 2 fellas go into the ball together where u are strapped.

the best place to play this would be on uneven trails but in frasers we had no choice but to have it in a tennis court. so instead of the ball rolling by itself, we had to push. some was nice, pushed very slow. but some was gung ho ( in this case, the guys ), and really really pushed. getting into the ball itself was an adventure altogether. u see the small opening fr the pic above ( next to bryan's head )? i was thinking n thinking how to get in la. the organizers just asked us to jump in. so ok lor. so i tried to dive in which was quite fun la.

was super panicky here but had to maintain face for the camera!!!! hahaha. to make the ride more exciting, they can add in water and have urself all drenched!

the ride was quite enjoyable & wasnt so bad as i imagined it to be. we're prolly gonna do the zorb ball proper the next coming weeks in lake gardens where u roll down the slopes! weee!!!

2 weeks ago, my company organized a teambuilding thingy in frasers over the weekend. can be considered my first time as i dun remember ever being to frasers although my mum said i've been there when i was a baby. we left sat morning and then it was straight to lunch and then amazing race+treasure hunt. the usual routine lar.

u have normal clues and answers which were supposed to find, stations which we had to do some stuffs. there was archery, horse riding, zorb ball ( which i'll post more pics later ), and the station below.

fear factor station. see the white candies?? we had to pick those with our mouths! meaning u'd pick out a couple of worms with it.urgh.

pail of horse dung. we had to stick our hands into and look for the candies

picking out candies with our mouths again. our whole face is immersed into that cencalok + dunno-whatever-else-they've-added-in to bite the sweets. that smell is so so SO bad that it sticks to you after tat. ( even after 15-20 minutes!!! )
* set la. after doin this fear factor, confirm-firm i can join amazing race asia dy lar. haha.

8 little facts bout myself

this is prolly the first time i'm doing a tag thanks to iluvtina. well here goes... i'll skip the rules portion and just go right into the "8 little facts bout myself". ( lazy la to cut n paste ) and i'm prolly not gonna tag anyone after this. so enjoy!

1) As opposed to iluvtina, I cry all the time. Advertisements ( remember those petronas ads commemorating our national day? ), songs ( Luther Vandross’s Dance with My Father), movies, series and even cartoons ( i'll always remember tarzan )gets my eyes all red and watery! I always imagine myself in the character’s shoes and if it’s moving enough, I’ll sob! Haha. Quite embarrassing really but I guess I have accepted that part of me. Lol. Sometimes talking about certain issues gets me all emotional and I can’t help but start tearing/crying right in the middle of shopping complexes. ( over bagels in Oliver’s Sandwich )

2) Hopelessly sentimental which I totally dislike!! Haha..then again, like fact number 1, it’s something that I’ve accepted. Will always have soft spots for people who were part of my life, but due to circumstances and changing environments, are not what we used to be anymore, like good friends from school or college. Love keeping things like notes, cards, small lil gifts and reminiscing bout the good times shared.

3) I peel the skin around my fingers and toes and you ask who doesn’t know that already???!! Hahaha..One bad habit since my childhood days which I still can’t get rid of. ( prizes for those who can???!! Eheh ) I peel, it bleeds, I plaster them, it heals, I peel them again. See, it’s a vicious cycle. I get a kick out of it and I can’t stop doing it whenever my hands are free or when I’m restless or nervous. Immediate reaction tat kinda thing. And yes, it’s painful.

4) I always eat the same food at the same restaurant. When I like a type of food in a restaurant, and even if there are other choices that I haven’t tried, I’d still stick to the one I’m familiar with. Like for eg. at Madam Kwans I’ll always go for their Nasi Bojari even though their Nasi Lemak or their Asam Laksa is equally good. (Of cos I haven’t tried them, but that’s the feedback I get) and in Pizza Uno, I’ll always go for their Con Salmone spaghetti even though their Lasagna look’s tempting or they say the Spring Chicken is good. I’m pretty safe when it comes to food. I get all upset if I tried to be adventurous one day and the food ends up being disappointing. When in coffee shops and I really don’t know what to eat, by default I’ll go for the Char Siew & Siew Yuk fan because you can’t go very wrong with that choice. Hey, its food we’re talking about after all!!!

5) When I was younger my nicknames were “Hak Mang Kai”, loosely translated as black chicken or “Sao Mang Kai”, which means skinny. Friends used to joke that they wouldn’t be able to see me behind a single chopstick. Hehe. In Primary school, I loved the outdoors and was always at the field bathing in mud and my skin was fried as it can be. And yeah, I was skinny up till form 2 too. It was then tat I decided that I was sick of being nicknamed skinny so I took it upon myself to fatten myself up with as much food I can get my hands on and VOILA! There was no turning back since. *glum*

6) I wanted to marry my dad when I was little.

7) I talk to myself. In situations where I need to get psyched up about something or when I’m frustrated or upset or when I’m afraid, I’ll cheer myself with “YuenWei you can do this! Come on!” haha. Yes, I’m my very own best cheerleader. Sometimes I even imagine myself with short skirts holding pom-poms doing splits. ( haha…kidding!)

8) I dislike lizards. I jump and scream at lizards. Urgh.

twilight zone.

i was reading the newspaper today and becos i was waiting for someone, i read everything and everything that i could lay my eyes on. ( even read this small little ad that was titled "Private Investigators Available" )

as i flip the pages, my eyes caught this bottom section that says US Chart Toppers, Hitz.fm's top 10 and Mix.fm's top 10. following every title were the 10 current hit songs from the respective stations. as i scanned through the songs one by one, to my horror (gasp!) i don't remember being able to hum out more than 3 songs on each list!

on another occasion related to current playlists of radio stations, cminh n i were mamaking the other day and i think he was surprised by my lack of knowledge so he asked whether i listened to radio or not.

oi u listen to radio wan or not?!!??
err..err.. yeah of cos i do!! i squeaked in protest. when im not listening to a CD lar, i continued
which one? he probed
in the softest voice imagineable, i replied light.fm
-.-'

i know i'm bordering danger zone ( alarm bells are ringing at this point ) when i realize i don't quite know which song friends are referring to when they poke fun at them.

so after much deliberation, considering these 'humbling' incidents that i've encountered the last couple of weeks, i've decided to heed the advice and listen to 'happening' stations more!! :D :D haha. i've done so and it has been quite refreshing to say the least. hehehe..

p/s : so glo, i'm back to being a cool and happening sis! HAHA.

regarding jazzercise again..

during classes, our very gung ho+energetic+loud instructor would normally ask us for responds in between an ab crunch or a squat i.e, like giving her a shout or a scream to show that we're still breathing and very much alive. with songs that requires more flexibility, songs like shakira's hips don't lie, she'll urge us to shake.our.hips! (much to our chagrin..or mine at least.. :P)

the other day, i forgot to what song.. she asked us to shout "I AM SEXY!" while doing our routines. our first few attempts was pathetic with giggles from across the room cos we're all very shy *coughs* ppl. as she tried and tried to coax us, i cant help but to have this picture in my head.

i.am.sexy
i bet he wouldn't have a problem uttering those 3 words cos he is afterall sexy :D

edit ( after being reminded by sexy ) : this is payback for all the draw cards u gave me during lunch on sun!!! hahah
