stay with me.

i know the last few days has been nothing but korea. but this will be the last one, i hope!! hehe..

the highlight of the trip. skiing!!! the whole ski trip cost about RM170 including rentals. we had to take a 1 hr+ van ride fr our hotel to the ski resort. arrived there at about 1pm. and with the whole difficulty in communicating, it was already 230pm when we were ready to ski. jakun ma. dunno how to wear shoes la, shoes too tight la, dunno how to tie shoelaces la (ahem!)..

the start of it was quite frustrating. cos you're afraid and cautious and you don't know how to stop, u end up crashing to the barriers at the side or some random person in your way. or worse still crashing into some kid! there were so many kids around it was quite scary. a random guy about to lose his balance suddenly grabbed my hand and he didn't let go immediately! teruk! i was already having difficulty myself at tat time dy then suddenly comes a guy about to fall, wantin to pull me along with him.

when we got the hang of it, it was time for us to go dy. sobs!! going down the beginners slope was so exhilarating!! shiok!!!

horrors of horrors

after being carless for more than a week, i finally took my car back from the workshop yesterday evening. but guess wat? it happened. i couldn't start it when i wanted to go to work today. bummer!!!!

ok back to korea. after the 2 days, we were on our own! so try la to be more adventurous, we took the subway to the world cup stadium.


this is not as straightforward as our lrts we have here. so many different lines going to so many different directions. change here, change there la. but thankfully, we reached :P

then it was off to 63 building. a place which we could see quite often in the korean series My Girl. so i just had to go there la. *wink* the observatory place was at the 60th floor and we took a glass lift up. the guys were making so much noise while i was videoing. so potong lor. bleh!


it was quite difficult to take pics at first because of the reflection n my shaky hands. but many thanks so samwise gamgee who is rather brilliant *coughs* for his idea, i managed to capture the breathtaking view of seoul at nite. his idea? timer ( y didnt i think of it??? ) and a jacket to cover the camera so that it would cover the objects behind. no reflection then. splendid!! i was really happy after this visit. weee!!

the next day, we woke up late, was late for breakfast, so late tat the tour guide had to come up to the restaurant to hurry us. *shy*

then we went to the Ginseng and Amethyst factory..dun have any pics fr there except for this..while waitin for the rest to finish shopping..


they found this coffee place near the Amethyst factory..very small, very cosy..there were only about four tables. 2 u see from the pic, and another 2. nice!

then it was shopping at dongdaemun market. a street with a couple of shopping complexes tat opens till 5am!!! then opposite this road of shopping complexes were something like our pasar malam shops..

then after dinner, we went back to the shopping street to jalan jalan some more. this time we jalan the pasar malam and had our supper.

koreakoreakorea. i dun even know where to start. so many stories, so many pictures. keke.. the feeling of waking up and going to the office after a terrific holiday is just plain bleh! :P hehehe.. i'll start with the first day la.

we reached korea at about 7ish and it was straight to sight seeing. first up was the kyongbok palace.


then it was to the war memorial


one looked the role, the other not so much yea? :P

when the guide told me the story of this statue, i was like 'Eh?!! this is like the story of Taegukgi, the movie won bin acted in. hehe..its about 2 brothers, one soldier of north korea and the other for south korea.
then it was our annual dinner at another hotel. i think it was holiday villa or something.


how often do i get to wear boots? the boots in korea are so so lovely!!!

then after dinner we went jalan jalan and stopped at this street of shops for supper.

the cool thing about the hotel we're staying in is that it has a computer and free internet access!!!! sweet! but dunno y my room takde so im in colleagues room now. room is small but cosy though and every room has different designs! ( tats wat i gather la from the few rooms i've been in ) how cool is tat?? ehehe...

and the sad thing is tat i havent seen a good looking guy here yettttt!!!!! wats this man?? the korean series misleading lor!! sue them for depicting a skewed picture of korea. haha...

gotta go change to go out now. toodles! :P

i wont torture u guys and leave u all with zie,marko&terry's post for the next 5 days. hehe. so i'll post a picture of my place of solitude instead. or rather a portion of it. :P


hmm, the wall doesnt look purple here. im not done doing up my room yet. gonna do it in stages lar. no $$$ liao!!! i really get the feeling of 'privacy' when i close my room doors here, which is something you don't get staying in a condo.

i wonder whether would this post generate as much activity on the chatbox as it did with the post on korean men? hehe. we'll see :P equally good *coughs* looking men we have in this post wat. *coughscoughs*

Happy 1 Year!!

its been a year since i've started working!!! yeap, one whole year, 12 whole months and 365 whole days!

so wat do i do again u ask?? hehe..

most of the time im so lazy to answer tat already. feels like im just repeating myself again and again, especially so when i just started working.

friend : ohkaayy.. wat do ppl in presales do?
me : hmm..u know how before a sale starts in say Metrojaya?
friend : err yeah...*puzzled look*
me : they have a PRE-view the day before for their priviledged card members right?

me : so yeah this is the same in IT world. PRE-sales.

wooohoo!! off to korea next week and according to them its -2 celcius!!! OGod, HELP ME!!! for a person who has her nose running like a tap even in our very own Genting, one can only imagine wat she has to go through in a weather like that. hehe. tat aside, im so filled with excitement i can hardly wait!

2007 and counting

Last few days went by so quickly leaving me back at the office now feeling glum. Having nothing to do is the last thing one needs when one is still in the holiday mood. *bleh*

Wordless Book is over and I must say it has been a pretty good experience. Got to know a lot of the younger YCians better and I finally get to cross ‘Joining a JC Works Production’ off my to-do list. Looking evil ( ok, some of you might disagree so I’m editing this to I’ve ‘tried’ my very best looking evil :p ) and having black and white make up on your face just tops it all. I mean seriously, when can you ever get away with that if not for this?


I don’t think I was at church last year on New Year’s Eve and I initially planned to rush off to Curve after the performance this year ( fireworks ma. Hehe. ). How glad I am that the plan didn’t work and I ushered in the New Year at church singing hymns and being surrounded by loving friends and parents being in the same building. The feeling was so surreal really. So vulnerable and was filled with emotions to the brim. So full of thankfulness and gratefulness of how 2006 has been and being reminded time and time again of how blessed I am. I’ve never celebrated the New Year in Curve, watching the amazing fireworks or in KL clubbing, partying the night away but I’m very sure nothing can ever beat greeting the New Year with the assurance that I’m never alone. :)

So what do you get when you put 2 Bonds together?
2 007!!!!
