I came home from work on Monday quite certain about going for a swim before dinner. After I stepped into my house, the immediate thing I did was searched for my swimsuit ( one I brought to Rawang but didn’t use) which is still in the luggage bag and went into my room. Before I could change my mind and so not willing to be overcome by my own laziness, I quickly changed into my swimsuit. I let myself stand in my room for a couple of minutes, which I’m sure was the wrong thing to do then, because not long after that, I was sure I heard 2 voices in my head.
“Why are you standing there? You need the exercise girl,” good girl said.“But think about lazing at your couch, wouldn’t that be better?” bad guy offered.“Remember what you’ve set out to do? good girl whispered.“Oooo, it’s gonna feel so goooood,” bad guy tempted.“You can’t possibly fall for that can you?” good girl countered.“Can you feel it? Can YOU feel it? Ahhhh…” bad guy tempting again.“It’s the right thing to do babe, just go out & SWIM! NOW!” good girl said almost sternly.NOooOo! It was a full blown mind war I tell you.
I’m not very proud of it really, but sad to say, good girl couldn’t persuade me enough. :P I changed back into my house clothes and jumped onto to couch! Hehe..
But wait! That’s not the end of it.
I was so filled with guilt and remorse that yesterday, in order not to fall for the same lies and deceit again; I called a dear friend to join me for a swim. No way I can pull out this time. Nyeknyek!
No wonder they say the best things in life are shared! :P
Thanks Pris for the company! More to come eh? *wink*
I’ll leave you with a pic of Pris. Enjoy! Teehee!
