i remember our classes was at block F tat year and it was so far and deserted tat some teachers were too lazy to walk to our classes. mighty a lot of stories about this block. first n second floors were kept empty except for the highest floor where only 4 classes were situated. when we walk up to our classes, we could peek in through the broken, dusty windows of the second floor (which used to be labs) and see dead specimens like frogs, lizards.. kept in jars of water which were then yellowish and full of dust. eewwww..
i know you all are prolly squinting to find me. so i've made it easier for all of you. i marked myself. haha..

now tats how cute my lil sis looked 6-7 years ago! lol

we loved our scouts den. we were there before school, after school and sometimes during school as well. keke..

during the SPM/PMR period during all the gerak gempur sessions, we would hideout in the den playing carom la, monopoly la, cards la, congkak la. the den was so filled with ppl at tat time tat once u open the door, u see every part of the floor taken up and u have to slowly navigate your way around. it was our very own gentang highlands!

every year we have membership drives to attract new members to sign up. we'd take a week+ to build the gadget at our school field, staying back at school... i miss building gadgets! way cool to climb all the way up and sit down with ur legs dangling down over the bakau.

While surfing thru blogs on Friday, I was reminded about the Puteri Gunung Ledang musical I wanted to watch. Didn't manage to catch it the first time, and while I was at KL the other day before going to Sabah, I saw one of their buntings hanging on those light poles, meaning it's gonna be staged again! YAY!

So set la. Told myself gonna watch it this time around.

Then went Sabah, came back..forgot about everything till Friday.

When I went to the website to check the dates, I had my fingers crossed, hoping that I didn't miss it completely. Breathed a sigh of relief when I found out that I still had the weekend and Monday the following week, but tat's still not a lot of time. Then I began to go thru a mental list of my friends who'd be interested to watch.

After a while, I realized I haven't got many friends left in the list. *sigh*

Then I began with another list. List of friends tat I can persuade, or rather coerce to go with me. But no such luck in that list also la. (mental note : must work on persuasion skills)

At first wanna watch on Sunday, but tak jadi. So last day liao today and I finally got 2 friends to watch together at 830pm tonite.

And what did they tell me when I called to try buy the tickets today???

blast from the past...

because i havent gotten hold of the sabah pics fr judah, i'll entertain u guys with some pics i've scanned from the Kodak i40 Scanner. ..( che wah ) haha...lemme start with my primary school memories.. :D

this was when we were in standard 3. my teacher called me hantu cos i had messy long hair. Hehe. Can find?

we called ourselves the 'bola baling gang' cos we spend a lot of time playing handball against the guys, running in the mud, getting all our shirts dirty. ( now see mud means avoid at all costs! HAHA) taken during one of our lepak sessions in our friends hse.
we used to have annual reunions at our official reunion place; siew woon's condo. started when we were in standard 5 or 6 i think.. we would lepak, play tennis, play squash, swim...kacau ppl, stay overnite, makan dinner.. lovely..
And this was taken this year at my place. look how we've all changed!! Hehe..

i bought a black top from atria yesterday for rm50. i asked the lady to give me a discount, which she refused because she claimed it was 'new arrival'.

i went home, took out the top and noticed that the buttons were spoilt so i went back to atria during lunch today and asked her for a new one. she said no new one, tat was the last and so she offered to sew it back for me. so ok la... and for awhile, i felt good cos at least i got it changed.

so on the way back to office, i dropped by at giant cos i wanted to get something from memory lane. on the way out of the shop after making my purchase, i noticed that the cart stall opposite has the same exact top i bought at atria!! i knew i shouldn't have walked over to ask the price but i really coudn't help it! i had to know!! so i went over and asked the lady how much it was. i saw the tag, which says rm35.90.

*arghh*

then the lady sumore go n say "dik, ini saya boleh beri diskaun...rm28 saja!"

at tat moment, i wanted to slam my head against the wall liao. *double argggghhh*

second boo-boo of the trip happened when i took out my camera from my bag.

*lights blink blink for a few seconds...then died*

my camera died on me. *big sigh* its either the battery or the charger KO liao.

so now i've no choice but to wait for pics fr judah's camera. :) ( which btw is quite alot because judah is trigger happy!! LOL)

judah's SMS : ...weigh ur luggages and make sure its approx 11kgs....

i started packing this evening and chucked everything into this huge haversack. as i was about to leave my hse to sherine's to drop over the bag, i remembered judah's SMS so i went into my mum's room, got the weighing machine out and weighed my bag.

20 KGs?!!!??

yao mo ah!! how can it be?? i didnt pack nonsense stuffs also!! everything in the bag is a necessity. clothes, toiletries, shoes, sleeping bag.. i didnt even bring the wat-if-i-need-this stuffs tat i normally do at every trip.

quickly sent 2 SMSes. one to sherine askin her whether her bag is as heavy and another to judah to tell him tat i'm overload.

so as i got into sherine's room, she started asking me about my bag, wat did i put inside, whether i pack alot or not.. etc etc. then she took out her weighing machine and asked me to weigh my bag there n then.

" make sure u look at it correctly! "

* what she toking. of course i looked at it correctly! *

" yah, its 20k.... eh wait..errrr..HMMMMMMm..opppss...saw it wrongly..8kg only!!"

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA..

my first boo-boo even before reaching sabah.

I’ll be off to Sabah tomorrow. Weee!!

I really hope we get to go into the rural areas and experience life without basic amenities. ( real challenge, but an experience nonetheless *wink* )

When different people come up and tell you on different occasions that you look tired(which seems to happen quite a bit), its really time to sit down and think of how you want to portray yourself to be.
