WHAT TO WRITE? WHAT TO WRITE? ahhh.. there were days when i had so many things to blog about till i updated my blog everyday and obviously there r also days like these, when i sit down n crack my brains to think of SOMETHING to write, jus for the sake of updating my blog. hehe..so in the end, what you have is a post full of uninformative, lame, unimportant, and 'no-use' stuffs. eheh..
SO....u know what is the scariest thing??
to have ur boss call u over to debug an error in his program. not only that, he graciously asks you to sit on HIS chair while he sits OPPOSITE you, waitin patiently for you to correct the error. goodness!!!
i need sleep! i need sleep!! .......LOL
now back to office/work dilemmas...
the most embarrasing thing happened to me yesterday morning. not really MOST embarrasing la but quite..so anyway, i have this monthly parking season pass to the building carpark. and as i drove towards the card sensor thingy, like those of the smart-tags at the highway tolls.. it didnt 'beep'. so i reversed ( the car behind me had to reverse also ) and tried to go thru it again, hoping that it would read my card this time. but nope, it didnt. so i took out the device and flashed it right in front of the reader, but it didnt work also. by this time, i'd imagine a sizeable car pile-up behind me already and if you happened to be one of the driver in one of the cars, you would've thought to yourself, "Ah, this st***d lady driver. dont know this is season pass lane ah? no season pass go to the ticket lane la!!" so shucks. this went on for a few more minutes and in the end i knew that this just wouldnt work and decided to go to the ticket lane instead. so i reversed AGAIN. and now comes the worst bit. the car behind me drove up to the sensor and guess wat?? YES!!! the barrier went up straight away. bah bah bah. wat a way to start my monday morning. urgh. but wait, thats not the end of it. sitting at my desk after tat, my BIG boss came by and it turns out that he was stucked at the mini-jam i created. ah, the joys of monday mornings! *bleh*

the week in a glance...

after dinner, we adjourned to magical theatre at sunway pyramid for drinks. i like the place! they had a card tricks slot so 3 guys went up on stage to show us a trick or two. ( hence the name i think ) after tat they had 2 live singers ala halo cafe style. we were sitting at this cool place on the corner of the 2nd floor and if we wanted to make it more 'private', we could actually draw the curtains around us. and to top it all, we got one of the guys to come up and do some special card tricks for her.

we were feeling cheeky so we bought her 4 small cakes, bringing each one of the cakes out one by one, singing 4 times in total. tsktsk.

Because I’m a Girl
I haven’t really really emo-ed for a long time now because I just didnt have anything in particular to emo about. I’ve no assignments to rush, no FYPs nagging me at the back of my head, no difficult situations with family and not even the ever famous cause of emoness; men, to worry about. So I was ‘potential-emo-causing-factors’ free. In fact, things were going rather good for me. The year started off with a bang, promising to be a real exciting one. Now, while work sometimes is a little challenging, it is still too small to become an emo issue for me.
So came the weekend when I was swept with this sudden heaviness in my heart, but couldn’t pinpoint the cause of it. And you know how when you’re down, things that usually don’t upset you, upsets you, causing you to fall even deeper into the pits. I went on with all my outings planned, even organized some myself, but I wasn’t genuinely happy and I knew it.
The comfort came during service on Sunday. Even during the praise songs itself, I was already fighting the urge to cry. The tears started to flow when they played the first note of the worship song. It has been awhile since I last cried like that and I knew I just had to let it all out in order to release whatever that has been subconsciously disturbing me. I was comforted by the ultimate Comforter and was enveloped with abounding love from the God of Love himself. *smiles*
What more can a girl ask for? I am now rejuvenated, refreshed and raring to go!! Grr!! :p

Really Living Requires Really Risking
You’re going to be hurt and you can’t do anything to prevent it, but you can trust God each time a hurt comes along. Trust that while you don’t have the power to protect yourself, He has the power to turn every hurt into something that improves you and glorifies Him. You’ll never protect yourself from all the hurt, but you’ll protect yourself from missing the life God intended when you make the choice to risk.

Random Thoughts
I have this almost instant intimacy towards whoever who calls me by ‘yuen’. I don’t know why, but I just like it. Hehe..
Leaving on a Jet Plane
I know it is inevitable. Colleagues come, colleagues go. But no, I haven’t gotten used to it yet and I really wonder what it’d be like come Thursday next week. Call me whatever u like, but this is how I’m feeling. I know life’s like that. I’ve had dozens of ppl telling me tat already.
I remember when I first heard about his plans of leaving, I was so upset really. Almost close to tears I think. (not as in mega crying la) Imagine, me THE newbie, prolly just started working bout 4-5 days, slowly adapting to working life and actually looking forward to work everyday because I was beginning to love the environment and the people, being told that her colleague is resigning. And not just one too, but TWO.
And now, 2 months down the road, I’ve gotten to know them so much better, which only makes the whole parting even more difficult now. *speechless* Well well, I can’t possibly hold on to everyone dear can I? And yes, I really am a sentimental fool.

Gone With The Wind
I just lost a lot, a lot of messages that meant a whole lot to me when I traded in my old phone. I totally forgot about it until I was in the car driving back from the phone shop. Ah… i remembered to do something bout it a few days back but now its all GONE…GONE…GONE…!!!
I’m upset, but well, maybe its for the best. Lets just hope it is. :p

I’ve not peeled my skin for two days already!! *clapclap* The goood thing about this is that my hand's softer too now, smelling of delicious cocoa butter..MmmMmm.. *grin*

Things to Look Forward To
I really hope the CG Paintball this Saturday materializes. I’ve been longing to go for ages already but haven’t gotten a chance to. (right brendon? Hehe) I’m so excited. Yay! Yay! I’m just hoping that I won’t bruise all over. :p
Frustrating Things
Do you find it frustrating when you thought u could get something on Saturday, only to have it pushed to Monday, and then when finally Monday comes, u get a call saying that it’s only ready on Tuesday?
Things to Be Grateful For
For the whole week it was nagging me at the back of my head but it was only Thursday when I felt butterflies in my tummy. And when I woke up on Friday, I told myself, “This is it. Today’s the day.” All the worry left me with a hideous, big pimple on my left cheek! Argh! But all I can say is thank you God. *smile* (well no, not for the pimple!)
Fruitful Things
In an attempt to stop myself from peeling my skin, I now have a hand moisturizer sitting on my office desk. Whenever I feel the urge to peel my skin, I rub on some lotion instead. Lol. Today is Day 2. We’ll see how it goes, but I’m glad to say that it’s so far so good! *fingers crossed* hehe..

on saturday, i was awaken n becos my bed is just next to the window, the sun was shining into my room dy. i panicked and quickly turned over n looked at my clock and thought to myself, "shucks, im late for work! its 9am dy!!!!" it was only after few seconds tat i realised tat it was a saturday and i've no work. ah, i tell u the feeling...its bliss wei. :p i closed the curtains and went back to my comfy quilt. :p
btw, i cant believe myself. i gave up shopping at midvalley this afternoon to catch up on my sleep. eepps!

When playing badminton with my colleagues yesterday, I asked for plasters because my thumb had a blister from fixing the ikea table I just bought. He went out later to buy mineral water, and came back with plasters! Awwww…

I went to draw out money from my ATM the other day and I found there was extra money in it. I already have the numbers in my mind; Feb salary + bank balance would give me an approximate X amount. But surprise surprise, the numbers didn’t match. I’m puzzled. As far as I know, my debtors did not credit any amount into my account. So where did the money come from? My company gave me extra pay???? They made a mistake? Gee God, did u add and multiply my bank balance after the benevolent collection in YC? Sun morn benevolent = sun night more money in bank! Lol!
I went yesterday to the ATM to get a mini transaction which states the last 8 bank transactions and it seems that really, the salary amount credited is more than what I expected. Well, according to my understanding, car allowances are only given after I’ve been confirmed, which I’m not. So how come lidat wan? I made a mistake?? Lol. Will keep u guys updated after I sort this whole thing out. :p
