girls night outing today was so, SO fun. :p glad i made it with my sis cos at around 630 i was still sleeping at home when we were supposed to meet at ruth's place at 7. thought i would jus bum around at home, probably eat in front of the tv and spend the whole nite with...the TV! haha..

i made it in the end n it turned out to be an all girls outing afterall! yay! definitely one of my first girls nite outing because rarely we find girls who'd be able to drive at nite. so yeah, thanks to kinsan, anna and amanda we had our dinner at the curve. my first time there n i really liked the place. the live band, the trees, the 'walk below the stars', the wind..AHHHH! lovely! *grin*

we tried out this new makan place cos the place we wanted to go was packed. looked nice at first glance and the prices looked pretty reasonable too. but when my
'sausage surprise' came, boy i was really surprised! eeheh..such a small portion! how to feed sumone who eats as much as me?? ekek..n the waiter was proudly telling us how 'big' their portions were when he took our orders. CHEH!

took a nice long stroll across the curve before we reached mcd's for sundaes n fries. n then it ALL began!!! teehee! we had a nice long chat which is gonna stay between the ones who were there! scouts honour! so adeline, no snoopin around yah! *wink*

wow! its been almost a week since i last posted anything! n i still have nothing to write about! LOL. yah life's pretty mundane with lotsa due dates around the corner. in fact, i have one this thurs n another on the following mon. so yah, hav been quite bz trying to squeeze in some work here n there la. :p

okay this post is specially dedicated to tan jiunn horng. man, who has a name spelt like tat? unique it is, and he's definitely one helluva unique person! known him back in high school. back to the days when he thought i was a bimbo! HAHA.. used to come over my class so often back in F2 dunno why also. ehhhe..mayb wannna ponteng la or probably cos he was jus in a few classes next to mine la. hehe.. then it was the scouts days and then in F4, the leo days. this tai kor ( quite tai also la ..hehe ) got like the best treasurer or sumthing liddat in our region man! wat to do, got such a great leader like me :p nyeknyeknyek. ( sorry la horng, must ambil glory sikit la..hehe )

man, i dunno wat i did but im still stuck in the same class with him till now! HAHA.. my luck anyway cos if not, there wouldnt be anyone to take care of me in apiit anymore. tsktsk. ( yes im a manja girl ) HAHAH..though he sumtimes ( most of the times actually ) kutuk me kau kau till im not even 5 cents worth ( chinese saying ), i do not even need to question on where i stand with him. yes, tats how tight we are. ( n i dun mean the space i hav when im sitting next to him ) hahaha..:p

so here's a toast to u being my chi mui k! HHAHAH..notice not the other way round yah! *wink* cheers!!

it was a good wrap up for cg as a whole for the last time. close to 30 ppl made it to the liew's residence tonite. and even for a big hse like sherine's, the place was packed! we were rubbing shoulders with the person standing next to us when we gathered for praise n worship later at night. haha..we also yakked and yakked and yakked so much tat its just noise everywhere. keke..

we went one round sharing bout how cg was to us last year n what would we expect out of cg this year round. we had responses like "we make them think tat we split, but actually we din wan".. to "eh, let's hav combined cg every week!" hahah..tat proves how much we'll miss each other.

well, i guess all good things would definitely come to an end. as they say, its inevitable. onli when it ends, can it provide the room for greater things to happen. so lets all look forward to another fantastic year, this time with a whole lot of new faces. :p

i just learnt a new and interesting game today. it's highly engaging and addictive. all u need is at least 2 persons and a handphone each. simple. one turn off though. u might get weird stares from ppl sitting around your table, thinking u're sum cuckoo who've escaped fr Tan. Ram...eeheh..

the game is bingo. and u play it with ur handphone. i might be a lil slow, but this is definitely my first time hearing of such version of bingo. hahah.. n i got quite hooked on to it...*tsktsk* mayb im jus easily amused la. but seriously it was fun!! heheh..

all u have to do is enter in 5 different numbers into your phone calculator, for eg. 73849. say your fren says a number ( u take turns doin this ) that u have, for eg. 7. u subtract 70000 from ur existing 73489 number to get rid of the 7. now u have 3489. u do that for the rest of the numbers that u have in common with the number ur fren has mentioned. now, say your fren says 5 and u do not have it. wat u do now is u multiply ur number by 5. so 3489*5 is 17445. n this goes on till u have all 0s in ur set of numbers, then u shout BINGO! hehe.. it makes the game all the fun-ner when the person who bingo's last has to treat the rest for a meal! hehe..

kids, u can try this at home. i bet u'll love it. HAHAHA... :p

oh i forgot to mention. through all the stress and anxiety, i still have reasons to thank god for. u see, my whole class said that my project submission was at 5pm. even one guy who went up to the lecturer and asked her about the submission time said it was 5pm. so we hurried and hurried. time check : 4pm. documentation not compliled yet. slides not completed yet. time check : 430pm. still compiling. then came 530 and we're still NOT done yet. at that time our documentation was still in the process of printing. ahh.. *gives up hope* forget it! we're going to be late dy la...chill..hehe..

suddenly my fren comes n tell me that the submission time is 7. really?? *glimmer of hope* god is good! really! man, even when i do not deserve it, he showers me with grace and mercy. *looks up to heaven and shouts THANK YOU!!* :p

why i still go thru this time after time puzzles me. the anxiety of last minute work kills. the madness on the day of submission kills even more! boy, wont i ever learn? semester after semester, project after project, the same cycle happens again. BAHH. lookin at my classmates who are jus sitting, havin a merry time looking at me pressin for time, definitely dont help. then i start to think. why cant i be like them? y cant i be in their place? i wont mind trading places! lookin at ppl rushing is always better than being the one actually rushing any time!! hehe...

so i came up with this. I AM NOT GOIN TO DO LAST MINUTE WORK EVER AGAIN!! how's tat for a new year resolution? hehe.. then again, im gently reminded by friends that new year resolutions dont happen. sigh, how i wish they do.

right during the week before camp, sum stuffs came up n i was really disheartened. i wont go into details but i was upset enough to actually give up. to throw in the towel on things i've been working on hard for the past one year eg. on my relationship with God. in the end, im happy i saw it through. n today's sermon by marcel hit home.

"sometimes u try so hard, really so hard, but it doesnt work out as how you want it to be. it seems like as if u're hitting concrete walls with no breakthru, no nothing. no sign at all.."

that was how i was feeling.

im all good now, and really, without god's strength i couldnt have done it. things that would've upset me if i didnt have God, do not upset me anymore now. yeah, and im happy bout it. :)

now, what little faith do i have if i were to really give up so easily? :p

why oh why am i still awake at this hour? well, sad to say that im currently rushin up my project due on the 5th of jan... and another due on the 3rd. sigh.. when new year's supposed to be celebrated with parties, dinners, shopping, hanging out, etc., im stuck at home doin work. even if i do go out ( which i actually did ), i have to be faced with an extra amount of guilt. sigh, going out's not supposed to be so tough. *sad face*
